Hawk gets the pigeon

After I finished work I had to take the dog for a little walk and I got my camera out and recorded a little David Allen Wizardgold update. While I was working one of the people of the campsites told me about a fairly small hawk that had caught a pigeon and so I was trying to get a picture of it this morning. I didn’t have a long enough lens to build two cope with the distance so I didn’t really get a picture that I could use unfortunately. It was an interesting site to see though!

Waiting for a new monitor to arrive

Last week I ordered a new 27 inch monitor to connect to my iMac. For a long time I have been using a nineteen inch square monitor, an old one, that had been getting a little bit flickery on occasion. Today was the day that’s the delivery company was going to bring the order to me and I was looking forward to getting my hands on it. I now have it set up and my desk now looks like the Starship Enterprise. I have a lot more space on my computer desktop.

The day after

So now I have a day off from working at the campsite and it is a beautiful sunny day. It is marvellous to have the time off but I will have to spend a little bit too much time in the garden doing things like that in the grass. Not only that I also have a pile of wood that needs to be chopped up and that is going to take some time. The other job for the day is to go to the bicycle shop where I left my rear wheel for my electric bicycle yesterday. I recently hit a pothole with the wheel and completely ruined the rear wheel rim. I am looking forward to being out to get out for a spin on my bicycle again as it has been nearly a week that I have been unable to use it.
