External Microphone Zoom H2 now not working on the iPad

The only thing can be done now is to buy a mini microphone and probably one of those that has the earbuds included as per the iPhone headset, because now that Apple have upgraded to iOS 4.2 there a number of things that don’t work that used to before. I heard David on the I Confess I’m a Geek Podcast bemoaning the fact that the iPhone4 no longer works in his Volvo, due to this supposed upgrade.
Have you found anything messed up by the latest from the iOS changes? Do you think that Apple might be rectifying the problem?

I have had great use out of my iPad during the Christmas break, very useful to watch video podcast or a movie while I have been some place and waiting for things, to be done and finished. I have been watching some videos showing me how to get the best use out of Market Samurai, a tool I got so that I could build up the numbers of visitors to my websites.
