Where To Find The Best Free iPad Apps

Obvious really that the best place to start will be in the App Store in iTunes. If you check that out you will see the top iPad applications. A section for the best paid apps and another for the best free applications. I listen to a number of Mac based podcasts and I often hear recommendations. Sometimes they are they paid applications like Nebulous Notes which was recommended as being great for entering text notes and I really like the extra row of programmable keys you have on the keyboard. Makes it great for writing in Markdown. Then there was ThinkBook which also came from recommendation. So it is not always paid for applications that the pundits are telling us about. You get to hear about what you can do with Evernote and DropBox which are both free. Which is the best app is hard to say as it really depends on what the user wants to get done with the iPad.

Angry Birds has a free option which I really like playing with from time to time. it is both easy to play and can be frustratingly difficult at the same time. For the Kids you have the Silly Talking TomCat that will repeat whatever you say to it.
