The Best Pro Tablet With an Apple Pencil

The Apple iPad Pro has to be the best pro tablet out there. Does the tablet as computer make any sense? With the fantastic applications available on iOS, is it any wonder you can indeed use your tablet as a computer. Yesterday I downloaded an application called Painterly and I’m thoroughly impressed with what is possible with it. In some ways it is a little bit like the application PaintCan in that you can take photos and turn them into pieces of digital art. As with many of these best pro tablet applications for photography and digital iPad art, you get a range of filters you can apply. It’s not a huge range compared to other applications with filters, but they seem quite cool to use. You also get the Splash effect, which is where you turn a colour photo to black-and-white and then just paint on the areas where you want to have the colour applied. With that you have Free Colour and you colour in whichever colour you like. Then you have Smart Colour which I found to be really good to get the blue of a sky that had a tree in the foreground. The tree stayed as black and white while the sky was all turned into blue colour. There is much more to the app than that. It’s called Painterly for a reason – Paint images on to your digital canvas to make a collage and have plenty of brush controls to do a great job of it. A good app to use alongside iColorama.

Learning to use Painterly

There is a good quick reference guide which pops up when you first get started and which you can return to any time you wish. It gives you a quick six step guide to using the application.

  1. Choose ground (canvas)
  2. Select source image from photo library or capture using built-in camera.
  3. Choose mode
  4. Start painting
  5. Apply enhancement filters to artwork
  6. Save and share your work

As you follow the process through, you’ll also be changing the source and the opacity of it as you need it for your painting. You’ll be choosing your brush patterns, configuring the brushstroke settings and selecting the filters and blend mode.

Within this informational/learning area you’ll also find tutorials and videos to help you get up and running. As with a lot of these iPad drawing and painting applications it’s good to experiment and play. You always have the undo button, so you can’t completely destroy your work. Sometimes things will work and sometimes they won’t. Your creative goal is to make choices and decisions about your image as you go. As you get more familiar with how any of these applications work you’re able to work faster and know which tools are best to use. There will always be a mixture of deliberation, deciding beforehand what you want and how you going to do it, mixed in with a certain amount of serendipity. That’s the joy of creativity!

Starting a Painterly project

In the top right corner there is a small icon that looks like a canvas on a tripod or easel. Tap on this to get a list of 15 types of background to use for your drawing. There is quite a range from the Dark Grey Canvas to the Bright White Rag Paper. You may also choose from your Photo Library to have one of your photos as a background. It is a two tap process to choose your image when I think only one tap should be needed. Then it brings you into a window where you adjust the image before using it in Painterly. Here you change lighting, colour, sharpness as well as draw on it if you wish. The drawing capabilities are not very good, but the blemish removal tool works very nicely indeed. The white tool doesn’t appear to do very much, while the focus tool gives you a choice of a radial or a linear focus that does what it is supposed to. You may also add text if you wish and crop or change the orientation of your image. The next thing to do is to add another image over the top of your desired background, whether that is the textured effects or whether you have used one of your images from your photo library.

Move it where you want it

You bring in the image you want to work with by using the plus symbol in the top left corner. You get the chance to enhance the image before you finally start working with it. At the top middle of the screen there is the word Compose which shows you, that at this point you can move the image around screen, resizing and turning it, to get it exactly where you want it. Make all the adjustments to get the picture in the right place, tap on the word Compose and then choose Paint. Use the Apple Pencil or whatever stylus you use to draw over the image to painted onto your canvas. You may need to adjust the opacity of your source so you can see it better. Wherever you paint using your Apple Pencil on the best pro tablet for artists you will get your source image appearing on the screen. I’m finding that there is a certain amount of lag, and more so when the brush is larger and the problem is not due to the Apple Pencil. I tested other styli and I just got the same amount of lag. To see what your image is looking like you’ll see there is an icon looking like a pair of spectacles in the bottom menu, tap on this to get a full-screen view of your work. In the settings for the brush you can choose from 66 different brush shapes and you may also choose the size and opacity. There is another setting area for the brush in the left pop-up menu called Stroke. In this setting you can change the shape and size of the brush with more finesse. You can tell it to randomise the scale of the brush as well as choose the rotation of the brush shape. There is a switch on there to have a brush cursor and I think that is best left on, so you can see where it is you are painting. If you have chosen to randomise the shape and size of the brush you will see the oval of the cursor changing as you move it across the screen.

Creative ways of using Painterly

Painterly ipad art

The application is really very good if you want to make a collage from various images. Just set your background and then bring in the images one at a time to paint them in. You have enough control with the brush despite its lag to get images positioned correctly. Painterly is useful where you’d like to overlay a texture on top of a photo or painting. You can set the Render with two filter positions and a blend mode. You will get different effects by changing the settings for the brush and you can change these effects as you go.

Careful using the eraser mode

There doesn’t seem to be a way to protect an area you have already completed. Because of this you need to be careful if you are having a second session of painting a source into your canvas. If it’s right next to something else you have already drawn and you go over you might think you can erase. You can erase, but it is likely you also remove parts of your previous drawing. It is a pain to have to reset up the image again to redo an edge you’ve rubbed out. The first option is, to take caution and be careful when drawing next to areas you have been working on. The second option would be to save your painting you’ve done so far to the camera roll and bring it back in again as a new starting point background.

Overview of Painterly On the Best Pro Tablet

Painterly is a useful application to have in your artist toolbox on the iPad Pro. When in use with the Apple Pencil you’ll find it’s easy-to-use your tablet as computer. When brushing with a larger brush it can be a little bit laggy. It is still usable despite this and it is when you’re using a smaller brush that you really do need to have it more accurate. I’m hoping that this is a part of the application that will improve over time. Painterly is great for making a collage of images. You see a reduced opacity of the image you want in your painting on the screen and you paint it in. There is a lot of room within the application for iPad art creativity and I can thoroughly recommend it.

Using The application Ink Artist for iPad

I have been looking at a number of art applications for the iPad . I started with the application Procreate which I found to be good application for drawing with. We also looked at the application ArtStudio which has more tools and is the one that is probably my current favourite. Then there is also the application ArtRage which is more painterly in its approach, to the extent that you can mix colours on your virtual canvas. This application Ink Artist is more suitable for drawing as it has a number of line styles that you can use. These lifestyles are adjustable with opacity, size and the pressure to give you different types of creative and expressive lines.

Cartoonists and caricaturists

Ink Artist ipad

I feel that the application would be most suitable for caricaturists and cartoonists because of the types of lines that are possible with Ink Artist. You can have lines that will either start with a tapered end and go through to a wider line, or the other way around. You also have lines which are textured with a random shaping to the line, either making it kind of jaggy or softened with that jitter. It is possible to use these sorts of lines to build up text areas by applying lines with lowered capacity over the top of each other. A couple of the lines of are made up of dots and shapes, which again would be good for creating areas of texture. You don’t get an airbrush tool so this is where these types of lines would become useful.

Is it a vector art?

The lines were now drawn seem to be vector drawings because they are very sharp still even when you zoom in a really close. It will be interesting to see how these drawings work out when exported to other vector-based applications either on the Mac or for the iPad. I would like to try one of these drawings out from Ink Artist to see how they look in application like a Vector Designer on the Mac. You can export out to PDF as vector art.

A free app With in-app purchase

How to use Ink Artist

With the free application you get up to 2 layers for your drawing, which may be enough for the simplest of drawings. You can buy an in app purchase, the cost is €1.79 to have the ability to create up to 20 layers. If the application or fur is still working on this application to improve it further, how will expect to see other brushes added at a later stage, either as free or as in app purchases.

Simple application with some help information

The author of the application, going by the wording in the help file is not English or English-speaking as a first language. In a professional application you would expect to see good English spelling and grammar. This information is good enough that it will allow you to get started and explore it for yourself and create some fun expressive art. Personally, I like the application for drawing although for day-to-day use ArtStudio is still my favourites with pro creates coming a close second. Certainly I can recommend that it is a iPad drawing application worth trying out to see if it fits in with your artistic drawing style.

Angry art with ArtRage the iPad painting application

In the past I have been an art student at art college and I have stretched canvas and daubed paint in a creative way. These days I like my art to be digital, because I think it is great the way that you can create an image on an iPad and you don’t have to worry about cleaning brushes, the smell of the oil paint, having to wait for paint to dry and so on. The immediacy of being able to create an image on a digital canvas is absolutely fantastic and now with this application for the iPad called ArtRage we have something that really is like virtually painting.

Loading up your brush with paint

Artrage for iPad

Within this application you are not just choosing a colour, you’re adding paint to a digital brush. When you move your brush across the digital canvas the paint will be spread by the paintbrush and will look just like the paint would in real life. The paint is real and not a never-ending stroke of colour, the paintbrush will only be able to put a certain amount of paint into the image. The paint will tail off as it gets used up by the paint stroke. Then you can load at the brush again, maybe with a different colour and mix the two lots of paint on your digital canvas with your digital brush. You will get similar results to what you would get if you had a real artists paint brush loaded up with paint. It is just that it is without the hassle of having to clean out brushes as you work on your painting.

Choices that you make for your digital painting

You can choose the surface that you want to paint on. You can have something that would resemble the surface that you get with watercolour paper, or you could have something that would be like canvas that you would use for either acrylics, or for oil paint. There is an infinite range of types and styles of media that you can draw and paint on within ArtRage. Just the same as you can make choices about the surface that you’re going to paint on, you have a huge range of tools that you can use to apply your colour.

ArtRage iPad painters app

Digital painting is better than the old analogue way of doing it

The speed with which you can make your decisions and choices is fantastic for an artist. If you need to quickly change from one type of brush to another, load it up with paint and start painting, then you can do that with ease. You don’t have to wait for layers of paint to dry in order to be able to paint the next part of your image. You can even choose whether you want to have the digital paint to be either wet or have it dry to achieve effects that wouldn’t be possible in the old-fashioned way.

With ArtRage you can use layers that will allow you to work on the background without disturbing or destroying something that you might have already worked on in the foreground of your design. It is still necessary to plan how you want your overall design to work out on your digital space, but you can at least work at it from a number of different angles. So you could work on an important part of your design that is in the foreground and then add a layer underneath that, to be able to add the background. Try to do that with paint on canvas and you would be spending much more time and energy in the creation process. Go and make a masterpiece with your iPad today.

Can you get Garageband for Windows? – What about Garageband for PC can it be done?

Yes you can do a Garageband download – No to Garageband for PC

It may seem a little bit strange to us Mac users, or to us iPad users that have legitimate use of the application Garageband, but large numbers of people online do a search looking for Garageband for PC or Garageband for Windows. There must be a a ton of people that have heard about the great fun you can have and the excellent music that you can create by using Garageband. You have the possibilities of using the Magic Garageband which assists you in a lot of ways to help you make your bit of music. You can take the next approach which will be to use the loops that come with Garageband for the Mac and for the iPad and craft your own piece of music. Then of course if you are a proper musician and you just need to do a quick recording of yourself with your guitar or your keyboard that you play yourself and add a number of tracks together to do something that’s a little bit or professional, then Garageband is just the job. I love the way that you get the image of a stage with some instruments on to waiting to be played, you choose what you want and build your song. Great for kids to start making music, Garageband Digital Audio Recorder might even get them on the path of learning a musical instrument.

Garageband download – where do you get it?

When you buy a new Mac it comes with some excellent pieces of software that you do want to use. Not like when you buy a crappy PC and you get a bucket load of what can only be described as rubbish software, that is really only fit for the bin. With the Mac you get the iLife suite of software and included within that is Garageband. Without a doubt a new user to the Mac, in the first few days will have many hours of fun making music tracks. It’s all part of being a Mac user. Apple knows this, which is why we are given such a good selection of software with the computer when we buy it. It is to encourage new users to the platform.

Share your Garageband music

Naturally once you have created your musical masterpiece you’re going to want to share it out, so that other people can listen to it. It is easy to do that by exporting the song out into your iTunes library, you even have the choice of going for the CD quality format or saving out as an MP3. You can even take your song and turn it into a custom ringtone for your iPhone. How good is that? You will hear your song every time your friends call you.

Despite the fact that Garageband for Mac is so good and much better than anything that you would get on a PC, there may come a time when you want to upgrade to the professional musicians software Logic Pro. It is easy to bring in songs from Garageband into the Logic Pro software.

Garageband will also give you basic music lessons

You won’t get music lessons on an equivalent Garageband for PC. With the Garageband format you will get 40 lessons to choose from. With Garageband for iPad, you can use the iRig MIDI to plug in a keyboard, there is also a device, Amplitube for iPad, you can use to allow you to connect a guitar to your iPad. Then you can have Sting teach you how to play Roxanne. You can also use the iRig microphone to sing along to your newly learned song. Using Garageband is a great way to learn the chords and finger positions for the guitar. With the lessons you can also play along with the band as well as hear some of the stories behind the song, directly from the musician that created it in the first place.

Stop dreaming about Garageband for Windows

So if you want to be a rock ‘n’ roll hero and you can’t afford a Mac, don’t waste your time wondering about Garageband for Windows, just go and grab yourself an iPad. Garageband for iPad only costs $4.99 and you are in business to start creating some music.

Muscians – Guitarists and Singers – Amplitube iPad app

Amplitube iPad 1

Amplitube for iPad – iPad Musicians Tools

Amplitube iRig is another tool for making music with the iPad and it can be used with the Garageband application. Also you have the Amplitube 2 for iPad application, which is a fully functioning guitar multi-effect processor and is also a recording and sound and music production studio for your iPad. Basically what you do is you turn your iPad into a mobile guitar, bass, keyboards and multi-effect processor for vocals. The Amplitube App gives you a complete recording studio on your iPad.

The Amazing iPad

To connect up your guitar you use the Amplitube iRig interface adapter and there is also the iRig microphone, or iRig Mic, so that you can process and record your vocals as well as acoustic instruments. You don’t have to be sitting in a recording studio to make music. So long as you have your guitar, the Amplitube adapter and your iPad with the Amplitube software on it, you can practice and record just about anywhere.

Using Amplitube iPad Effects

With the Amplitube 2 for iPad, it is like a traditional live set up and you have four daisy chained stompbox effects that run into an amplifier with a plethora of effects. You also have a cabinet and a microphone. There are 11 stomp box built in effects to choose from. There is delay, fuzz, overdrive wah, chorus, envelope filter, phaser, flanger, octave, noise filter and also distortion.

Amplitube ipad

You have five different amps to choose from, that have full controls, along with five different speaker cabinets and two microphones. One of the microphones is dynamic and the other one is condenser. The condenser microphones are more for the studio use as they are more sensitive. With the five amplifiers you get clean, crunch, lead, metal and bass.

Amplitube iPad and the paid for extras

It is also possible to expand the recording rig that you start with, by making some in app purchases ,with affects like the compressor, reverb, parametric EQ, graphic EQ and the limiter. Personally I think that those FX should have been included already in the basic package as standard. So when you are looking at the price of this setup you should see how much the in app purchases are going to cost you, so that you know how much the total is going to be. There are other amps and effects that you can add from the Amplitube Fender and vocal effects from the Vocalive apps . When you have all of this installed there would be hardly anything, that you couldn’t do with Amplitube for iPad.

Amplitube 3 – Organising your favourite presets

Having all these wild and wonderful amps, effects and so on is great, but you do need to have some way to be able to manage them. Within Amplitube for iPad there is a folder panel system that allows you to store, find and recall your library of sounds. You can actually make some dedicated buttons with favourites and there are 10 available banks to store your 40 most often used to presets. So when working on a song, it can be quite manageable to change from one preset through to another.

A large part of the functionality of the Amplitube for iPad application is the ability to grab your musical ideas, and record your performances quickly and easily. Amplitube iPad has a built-in recorder and from this you can export out high-quality sound files. Within the recorder you can also apply different sets of effects and be able to change the tone and the sound of the original track. You can make all sorts of tweaks to perfect your soundtrack in recorder. Once again to be able to get the full benefits of the application you have to add, in app purchases, this time you have to pay extra to turn the single track recorder into a multitrack recorder. I suppose the benefit of this is that you can get the bare application to test out the basics and then expand it as necessary.

Amplitube for iPad – Single Track or Multi Track

When you have the eight track recorder and the master effects section, you are able to work on each individual track with the volume control, pan control, solo and muted switches, as well as controls for adding ambience and depth. It is also possible to import audio into each track and there is a feature which allows you to bounce tracks into one track, which frees up extra tracks for you to be able to use.

Amplitube 3 for iPad looks as though it is an extremely capable musicians tool that will be continuously expandable, so long as you’re prepared to pay for extras. It looks easy to set up and work with the Amplitube iRig, which you use to connect up your guitar. Then you also have the iRig microphone for adding your vocals. A one stop shop for guitarists and singers. Don’t forget there is the ioDock from Alesis that is an excellent tool for connecting microphones to the iPad.

Podcasting on Garageband for iPad – Garageband iPad Music Making

Getting started with Garageband for iPad

Today I am diving into iPad Garageband, even though I am not a musician and at the moment not even a podcaster. I haven’t made a podcast for a wee while, unless you count a couple of YouTube videos I made recently. Let’s have a look at what can be done with Garageband for iPad.

When I just opened up Garageband, the first thing that I saw was a choice of instruments. I was able to choose to do an iPad audio recording of whatever I wanted and there was microphone icon, with a message telling me that I can record whatever I like and I could use the iPad microphone. There were other instruments there too and it took me a while to work out how to get back to that first screen from the section I ended up in called My Songs. There is a a demo music piece called Curtain Call.

Just found out that to get back to the Instruments selection panel, where you can choose from Smart Guitar, Smart Keyboard, Smart Bass, Smart Drums, and instruments that are not so smart, such as drums, keyboard and guitar amp. Like I said, the one I chose was the audio recorder, which allows you to record your voice or any sound.

The Amazing iPad

Recording digital audio on Garageband for iPad

So I tap on the audio recorder and the first thing I see is a nice old-fashioned analogue VU meter. This would be quite good for recording your voice if you wanted to make a podcast, or even if you wanted to do some singing. So I have plugged in the headset from my iPhone and hit the record button. Annoyingly, the metronome is tapping away and I need to get rid of it. Garageband for iPad has you using the metronome by default, to turn it off you tap the spanner icon in the top menu bar. In those song settings, you can also change the tempo, the key and switch on or off airplay Bluetooth HDMI, which is the way that Garageband sends out sound to airplay devices.

To start recording just press the little red button at the top of the screen and you can see that you’re recording okay, by looking at the meter which takes up the entire left half of the screen. After you have made the recording of your voice you have a number of options for messing with the sound. You can have it without any filters on, or you can add the chipmunk effect, robot, monster, dreamy, large or small room, telephone or bullhorn effects. When you choose one of the effects, you will see at the bottom of a couple of sliders for audio filters that make the effect, so that you can adjust the amount and change the sound. For example when using the dreamy effect I can change the amount of chorus and also the reverb time. When using the robot voice its uses the Phazer and the chorus.

Garageband for iPad

The Microphone for Garageband iPad

The actual quality of the recording using the microphone off my iPhone headset, is actually not that bad at all. In the top left-hand corner of the main part of the screen there is a button that looks like a 3.5 mm jack, tap on that and you can monitor the sound as you record and you can also set a noise gate. What the noise gate does, is to set the level for when the microphone records sound. If there are some noises that are around you, then the microphone will not pick up those lower-level noises and only record the sound is coming from the microphone. It allows you to get a better quality recording of your voice.

iRig Garageband iPad microphone

Garageband would be the perfect application to use in conjunction with the iRig microphone for your singing or for your podcasting. At the top of the screen you have your buttons to be able to go to My Songs or Instruments, those are in the top left-hand corner of the menubar. Underneath those there is a button with a picture of a jigsaw piece on there. This is to get to your song section settings. You can make it so that the section length is automatic, or you can set it to be a certain number of bars. Tap on the Jigsaw icon under menu bar to change those details or to duplicate or add some sections to your song.

You can tap the button which is next to the icon that looks like a microphone which will take you to a multitrack recording view. You can still hit on the record button and you get the VU meter again in front of you. The problem I am having to start with in Garageband for iPad, is that it is not allowing me to record audio for very long. I had to go in there to change the settings in the section length, leaving it at automatic so that I can record for longer.

How to use Garageband iPad and have fun making music

Despite not being a musician, I had to have a little bit of a play, to see if I could create something musical. It is surprisingly easy to create yourself a little song that has guitar, drums, keyboard and all you have to do is to add yourself some smart drums and tap a few of the buttons while you are playing through your music track. Now it does have to be said that while what you have made is not necessarily going to go very high in the music charts, but you will have loads of fun as I did and maybe make something that is just about musical.

iPad Garageband

The way to go about making yourself a music track, like I said, bare in mind that I am no musician, is perhaps start with a drum track, so that you have a good beat and then add a few more instruments on top. After the drums you could add a bass track, then a little bit classic rock guitar and a little bit of keyboard and you have your backing track and you can start singing over the top of that.

Audition yourself on Garageband for iPad

Once you have your backing track, you can audition yourself as many times as you need to, so that you have something that is in tune and as musical as you are going to manage. Then you can go to the My Songs part of Garageband for iPad and you can export out your song by sending it to iTunes, or if you are feeling brave, you could e-mail the song. Not so sure that I would like to inflict my first songs on anybody by e-mail. I will include the first song I made in Garageband for iPad, here on this post, but don’t blame me if it makes your ears bleed.

Garageband for ipad

Podcasting with iPad Garageband

iPad Garageband is an excellent application for having some fun with music and you can also use it for recording some audio for whatever purpose, including if you wanted to make a podcast. So go to the App Store in iTunes and do a Garageband download, There is not a Garageband download for Windows, so don’t ask. Once you have played with the app on the iPad and had some fun you will think no more about Garageband PC and go to the Apple Store to buy a Mac.

One Way of iPad Photo Editing is To Use a Digital Artists Tool – Art Studio

iPad Photo apps vs a Digital Art App

Art Studio - iPad Photo Editor

So I spent quite a bit of time trying out a few of the photo editing applications,Photoshop Express, QQ image editor HD, Instagram and also Photopad by ZAGG. Of the bunch of those I found that the Photoshop Express from Adobe was the most polished, iPad app of them. The other ones did also have features which were useful, to a certain extent one could say that, maybe it is necessary to have more than one iPhoto, iPad application for working on your iPad photos.

The Amazing iPad

Make use of one app for doing a specific task that it is good at doing and switching applications, to use a different one when you want to complete a different sort of task. The only problem with this is if you need to do something that’s requires multi-steps and you need to use two or three applications to get the job done. Maybe that could be the reason, why you would think about paying for an iPad photo editing application, that would possibly do all of the things you need and save you a certain amount of messing about.

Art Studio - iPad Photos

There are times when paying for an App is the way to go

All of the free iPad photographers applications I looked at, were a little limited in what they could do, even though they were not really one trick ponies. For example, one thing that I wanted to be able to do, was to merge a couple of photographs together. With the QQ image editor HD I was able to have more than one photo within the workspace, but merging the photos was not one of the tricks that pony could manage.

Art Studio for editing iPad photos and creating digital art

What I did now, was to have a look at an art application which is designed more as a drawing and painting, digital art creation tool, but is able to have layers. You can put one photo on one layer and then have another photograph on a different layer. Then it is possible to change the way that those layers interact, for example changing the opacity of the layer and the blend mode. The art application that I was looking at is called Art Studio. It was easy for me to have two photos in one piece of art, on different layers and it was easy for me to take a layer and to move it, scale it and rotate it. I could even draw on it.

Laying down the layers

I got some quite interesting effects in Art Studio with my iPad photos by changing the opacity of the top layer, while the blend mode was set to multiply. I had a nice little adjustment slider to fiddle with at the bottom of the screen, while I was working on the layers. Then I changed to using the tools available and I used the eraser to rub out part of the top layer and let the layer underneath show through more. The end results were quite artistic in fact!

Because you have a number of layers available for you to work on, you can start a new layer in your photographic art and work within that over the top of your photo. That leaves the original layer still in good condition, so that if you need to scrub out all that you have done already and start again, you could do so easily, without ruining your original image.

Art Studio best photo apps

No shortage of tools to use in Art Studio

There are a huge number of tools available to paint and draw with, in Art Studio. Within the tool it is possible to change many of the characteristics, so that you get exactly what you want. In the scatter tool, which is a kind of brush tool that has five initial choices of scatter, which can be set to soft, medium and hard. The style of the brush can be changed so that it will fade at the start or at the end, the spacing can be changed, the jitter and a whole host of other settings.

iPad Photo Editor -Art Studio

Art studio is an excellent drawing and painting application, that can also be used for editing your photos on your iPad creatively. There is a limitation to the size of the image that you can work on, but that image size is quite workable.

With using Art Studio as an iPad photo editor it would be much more useful than the straight up photo editing applications. Especially useful, if you wanted to make a poster that included one of your iPad photos as well as text and drawings. Overall I have to say that Art Studio would be a good choice to use as an iPad photo editing app. It is the best photo editing app I have found so far, for sure you can do more with this than you can with Photoshop Express.
